Pawn Con is back! And this time we are bringing Avid Bookshop, Books for Keeps, MR. Comic Shop and local artists poopbird.com and Jeremiah Purinton with us! 

Pawn Con 2 is all about BOOKS! Eat, drink, give to a good cause, learn new games and take care of your holiday shopping all in the parking lot of The Rook & Pawn on Sunday December 6th starting at 12:30pm.

Our featured partner is Avid Bookshop, which needs no introduction to those of us here in Athens but is known the world over as Georgia's friendliest indepent bookshop. Books for Keeps will also be on hand collecting new and gently used books to be distributed to almost 4,000 local elementary school aged children - so please give a book AND buy a book (or buy a book to give!) 

The Rook & Pawn will be serving food, drink and teaching great storytelling games all day long including Dixit and more! 

MR. Comic Shop, a founding Pawn Con member, will be back to handle all of your holiday comic gift needs.

And if you haven't seen the art of poopbird.com and JP, well then you must, their art has been featured in several board games that grace our shelves and will look great on your walls.

So please come out to browse books and art, play games, eat, drink and be merry!
