Shake off the hangover of all of those stodgy office and family holiday parties with a party made by and for gamers - the first ever Rook & Pawn/Athens Board Game Meetup Holiday Party! 

Our Meetup Monday series with the Athens Area Board Game Meetup group has been a resounding success and we thought this would be a great collaborative celebration as we head into the holiday season. This will be a great party to connect with new friends that share an interest in games, food, drink and generally being awesome.

We will have holiday themed food, specialty cocktails created just for the party, discounts on food & drink for attendees and obviously...games, games, games!

But the real star of the show will be the White Elephant Gift Exchange which will start at 2pm SHARP! Attendees that wish to participate should bring a new or gently used game with a value of ~$25. Could be a previous purchase that just never makes it to the table at your house. Could be a horrible game that has no business on anyone's table but is worth it for the comedy alone of seeing someone's horrified face as they unwrap it at the party. Up to you! Just keep the value to around $25 and be there by 2pm if you want to participate.

We will also be collecting donations for the Food Bank of NE Georgia - so PLEASE bring food items that are desperately needed over the holiday season including: peanut butter, rice, canned vegetables, canned meats, pasta, pasta sauce, and granola bars.
