Join the Rook & Pawn for the first of a (hopefully) long running and wildly successful series of events utilizing our parking lot, directly in front of the cafe.

We're calling it Pawn Con, an event that's half farmer's market, half Dragon Con, half Gen Con, half Kids Fest, half Brew Fest...how many halves are we up to?  And its COMPLETELY FREE! We will be closing off the parking lot and attendees will be free to stroll between tents to demo fresh-hand-picked board games, eat great food, drink great coffees/teas/juices/mimosas/beers/wines and also visit with (and purchase amazing items from) a local business that we've partnered with for the event. 

For Pawn Con No. 1 we will be pairing with Watkinsville's Mr. Comic Shop. The Rook & Pawn will be demoing some great comic-themed games such as: Marvel Legendary, Sentinels of the Multiverse, DC Deckbuilder, Heroes Wanted and more!  Mr. Comic Shop will be set up with comics for sale that pair with those games, along with other great merchandise from their store.

Pawn Con No. 1 will be a great way to spend a Sunday getting to know a great local business as well as a few new games.
